Cakey Chocolate Chips Cookies

Personally I’m not a big fan of cakey cookies, but believe me when I say these cookies rock. These cakey chocolate chip cookies are so delicious, easy to prepare at home and you can have them in hands for breakfast, between meals, or when you have people over.

This recipe is taken from M.S and I can say that is the only recipe I didn’t modify, I think it’s perfect this way.

  • I recommend using dark chocolate for the chocolate chips.

Method:

 

Preheat oven to 176°C.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.

Combine all dry ingredients and set aside.

In a bowl cream together the unsalted butter, both types of sugar and vanilla extract.

Add in the eggs one at a time while beating.

Add the chocolate chips and stir in with a spatula.

Using a small ice-cream scoop or 2 spoons divide the batter on the cookie sheet, make sure to put them apart from each-other because they will spread as they bake.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown look (make sure not turning them into brown).

Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes and then transfer to a wire rack, letting them to cool completely.
