If you follow me on social media, you know now that this is not a new destination for me. I have had a lot of inquiries regarding my last trip therefor I decided to dedicate a post to it.

Flower Hotel is actually a resort more than a hotel, positioned in Golem, by the beach street. My first visit was not by chance. Flower was one of the destinations I wanted to try, because I had gotten a lot of good comments. I was skeptical initially, almost cold and with no expectations (honestly, I just did not want to be disappointed). On my first visit back in September when you could still go to the beach, I had a great experience which I shared with you via a set of photos on Instagram, explaining why I had liked the place so much.

Given the fact that I qualified Flower in my top 3 preferred hotels in Albania, my first visit could definitely be my last. During these months I have been going there several times, especially to enjoy getaway weekends, far from the daily routine and work. Therefor, I put down all the reasons why I recommend this destination to all my readers:

• Seen through an aesthetic-seeking eye, I like the care and attention given to all the spaces (interior and exterior). The building is easily recognizable from the rest of the scenery.

• I love it how they always work on the atmosphere, synchronizing with the period on which you visit the hotel. I had such a nice feeling when I went there 3 days ago and I noticed all the Christmas decorations. The place was warm and welcoming.
• What I like about Flower is the good sensation given by the order and the smiling staff, always happy to help and make you feel welcomed.

• I like the little details, like the corner with different bio skin products and creams, sunscreens, that you might need. I always forget my sunblock so I think this is just plain necessary. There are souvenirs for visitors too, which I think is such a delicate and smart touch.

• The rooms are spacious and you can find everything needed for a short or long trip. Once you understand the Flower vide, you can see how it reflects on the decorating style as well, although I have stayed there 4 times and every time the rooms have been different. The rooms are not identical, varying on the furniture placing and decoration tones. I like it because it means that the hotel is never boring.

• The room reservation includes not only the breakfast (which is so delicious and abundant), but also the jacuzzi and sauna. So, do not waste anymore time if you are on the look for a place where you can relax in the privacy of your loved ones or friends. It is such a great experience, especially in the winter season.
• For everyone who want to take relaxing on another level, Flower also offers massage (relaxing or therapeutically) and aesthetic services.

• Flower serves also as a great spot for conferences or trainings, thus offering a 360 degrees service.
• I last visited Flower on my sister`s birthday and it really is a great place if you want to organize a surprise party or a private gathering with your loved ones. I like how in this place I can just enjoy the moment and worry about nothing else.

• The restaurant (what I pay most attention to) was such a surprise on my first visit. My expectations grew when I learned that the kitchen was run by Chef Genti Malaveci, one of the best Chefs of the moment. Flower and Genti have brought the gourmet spirit, making the food offering special and far from the classical on the fish and meat based menus. The menu also differs according to the season, so everything is fresh and you can always try something new at Flower.

My recommends regarding the dishes are as follows: Flower Salad, Bass Ceviche with passion fruit and 14 different spices, Grush (an interesting combination between sushi and Albanian traditional dish japrak), Ravioli with shrimp cream. I haven`t tried so much the meat based menu, therefor I am letting you decide on your favorites. Deserts are another thing to look forward and my only advise is not to stuff yourself on the main dishes and let some free space for them.

• Pricing is another important issue and I have to say it is quite rational given the services that are offered.
• I am ending my list with a point I mentioned earlier too, the quality of the service, which is exactly what put this place on my Top 3 list. In Albania we still need a lot of work on this sector, but Flower truly offers an impeccable experience, with a perfectly trained staff who is always happy to help and make you feel welcomed. I was curious to see if there was going to be any less attention towards me once I was not a new client, but that luckily never happened.

I honestly recommend this destination, not just for weekends or long-term stays, but also for just a lunch or dinner with family or friends.

In the summer Flower serves as a holiday destination, while in the winter it is the perfect place to stop and treat yourself, go away from stress and just enjoy all the services and good feeling.
