Cooking homemade ice cream is no longer an impossible mission. With this recipe you wont need an ice cream machine, not even a stove. Just an electric mixer and a bowl; and if you don’t have an electric mixer at home, don’t panic. A whisk and some upper-arm strength will do just fine.
It’s surprising how you can have a silky-smooth ice cream with only two simple ingredients. The fun part is that you can leave it plain just like that, or combine it with whatever you desire.
A simple, playful and delicious recipe. What can you ask for more ?!
Other nice ideas : use cookies or cakes. Break them or smash into small pieces and incorporate into the ice cream base
Personal tries : oatmeal cookies, strawberry cheesecake (my favorite), brownie, chocolate cupcakes, chocolate truffle cookies (I really do like this one)
I don’t suggest : fresh fruit’s puree such as peaches, oranges, mangos etc. Berries can work (using chunks though not puree)
Method:
Place sweetened condensed milk in the fridge to keep it cold
Whip cold whipping cream until stiff peaks form
Turn down the speed a little and add the sweetened condensed milk into the whipped cream
Then, turn up the speed again and whip until the mixture is thick and to stiff peaks
Here you have your ice cream base. You can add in your desired flavors. BE CREATIVE !
Place your ice creams into containers and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight
