The Homemade Chocolate Cake Mix recipe from L.V.; which I shared with you was a total success and therefore people started asking me for different other mixes. I’m very happy to share with you all of the mixes I use at home at any time, for any occasion. Today I’m going for the basic cake mix, the vanilla one.
P.S : Sorry for not posting lately. My camera is broken and that’s the main reason why. Plus I’ve been very busy with school, finals and other projects which will be posted very soon on Kikiliciouss !
Method:
Sift all dry ingredients in a large bowl
Mix well
Place the mixture in a container with a tight fitting lid
Store in your pantry
Suggestion : Double or triple the recipe and have it on hand at anytime
Additional Ingredients Needed For The Cake :
3 eggs
310 ml milk or water (milk makes the cake richer)
113 gram unsalted melted butter or vegetable oil (butter provides a richer cake)
Vanilla Extract
How To Make The Cake :
Preheat oven to 176°C
Combine the dry mix (or if you’re doing more use 900 gram/4 cups) with the eggs, milk or water, butter or oil
Note – this mixture makes 1 cake (22 x 33 cm), 2 round cakes (22 cm) or 24 cupcakes
The cakes need to bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes while the cupcakes take around 20 minutes
