Am I the only one that doesn’t like buttercream frosting ? Probably yes. I don’t like it and I barely use it, so instead I often use this cream-cheese frosting. It is super simple to make and you can store it in the fridge and use it whenever you need it. You can use this cream for frosting or filling. The best filling in a summer fruity tart or frosting cupcakes such as brownie-which fits perfectly with this type of frosting (soon the recipe of cupcake on my web). I’ve put on the ingredients picture 2 different measurements in each one. The first layer is for the filling, second one is for the frosting.
- Make sure your whipping cream is cold, this will lead to a faster whipping and you won’t have any problem on the way
- Before adding the mascarpone cheese make sure to remove all the liquids
Method:
In a bowl put the heavy cream and vanilla extract and start beating it until it foams
Add the Mascarpone cheese and beat it again until stiff peaks
