Peach Popsicles

We have the luck to enjoy different fruits during the summer season, such as peaches, figs, melons, watermelons, etc – fruits that offer a wide range of experimentation in cooking.

This time I decided to prepare some peach popsicles. Actually in this post I have used nectarines instead of peaches (as I was out of peaches). Both versions are very tasteful, but for a richer flavor I would suggest using peaches.

Simple, quick to prepare and at a minimal cost, you will have the best popsicles, a product not only delicious but also healthy, especially for the children. With only 3 ingredients you can easily find in your kitchen you will have the best food along these hot days.

You can use this recipe by multiplying the measurements and keep it in the ice and eat it gradually – in this way you can avoid buying industrially produced ice-cream from the super markets.

I have bought these Popsicle molds here and trust me every penny is worth it, they will not only save you time and space but the final product has an appealing aesthetics as well.

  • If you are using peaches for this recipe, peel the skin first – in the case of nectarines this is not necessary
  • Greek yoghurt will give the ice-cream a more creamy texture, otherwise you can use normal yoghurt
  •  Mund ti shtoni vanilje për shije. Personalisht preferoj ta mbaj pa vanilje pasi më pëlqen shija e frutit 100%
  • You can add vanilla for extra flavor, although I personally prefer to keep the raw taste of the fruit
  • If you do not have a popsicle mold you can use plastic cups which can be later on discarded in order to eat the popsicle
  • If you have a silicone base mold, prepare the ice-creams and when they are frozen get them out of the molds and wrap them with cellophane wrap and place the popsicles in the freezer so you can be free to use the mold again
