Truth is mobile phones have become a huge part of our daily activities, and somehow, they run our lives too. Equipped with a variety of apps that guide us in different times and needs, they are quite like a put-together bunch of very knowledgeable friendly professionals always there when called upon.
Yup, life is so much easier with all these apps in handy. Keep reading to find out my favorite apps!

1. Instagram – Social Media & Business
Instagram is my favorite social media platform! I like the importance put in the aesthetics and good photography, combined with extracted, equally important written content. For Kikiliciouss too, this is one the basis of communication building with our audience – our readers and clients – and being in touch in our daily activities and news distribution. So, you can understand how important it is for the business side too! No matter if you are just a visuals-enthusiast or a brand represented with an official business account, learn the Instagram game and how it can help you. But please, the important thing is to not obsess and start comparing your life with other people’s on this (or any) social media platform – most times everyone shows just the highlights of their lives publicly – so be happy with yourself and embrace every little quirky side of you! We love uniqueness here!

2. VSCO – Photo Editing
Going back to that love for impeccable aesthetics, VSCO is the most important photo editing app we use to create our content at Kikiliciouss. In fact it is not just an app where you can play around with your photos, it is also a community of creators and photographers, where I get inspiration. You can use it for free or become a member towards a payment. Either way you can still have a lot of fun creating or just looking at what other people have created.

3. Snapfood –Food comes before everything!
Snapfood makes ordering food so easy! Yup, like a snap of fingers. It collaborates with some of my favorite restaurants and that makes me very happy. What I also like about this app is it being the only Albanian app in my phone and I am so glad to support the team!

4. Duolingo – Learning & Entertainment
I like Duolingo because it is such an easy app to learn new languages, and because I do not really have any games on my phone, it serves also as entertainment when I am bored! The lessons are easy and the reminders help me to find some time during my day for it, even when I am very busy. I am currently (okay, continuously) learning French and I can just say that J’adore Duolingo e maintenant je veux manger un crêpe!

5. Flo – Period Tracker
It is important to know all the latest stuff, be entertained, look cool on all the photos, but above all it is important to learn more about your body and stay in tune with it. Honestly, that is the key to all the other fun stuff in life. Flo’s predictions are spot-on and, in the meantime, it always features articles about female health, getting to know better how everything works, mentally, emotionally and physically. We all know that time of the month can be not that much fun, but with a community that supports you, everything becomes easier. My only concern is how to get men on Flo – I feel that once they are equally educated the world will be so much better!

6. Nike Training – Physical activity
I – actually the whole team – started this year with an intention to get stronger physically. I like this app because it helps you choose your own training level and routine, by downloading it and saving it for you. It is like a personal trainer that keeps track of your activity and suggests what else you should do, depending on your training advancement. Nike Training helps you design your own training plan and it has a various of different exercises, depending on what you aim specifically, or mixed HIT exercises, Yoga too. Another fun thing is that it gives you the possibility to connect with other people.

7. Maps.ME – Travelling & Finding your way when lost
As a travel enthusiast, and above all a “I want to know where I have ended up on this walk”-enthusiast, I simply love this app! It gives you the opportunity to download the map of the city you want to visit and then you can use it offline, with it successfully keeping an eye on you, and you keeping an eye on your next attraction on your list. I also use this when traveling through Albania, especially when driving alone as my sense of direction is not the best and the app follows my route and talks to me, guiding me through it.
