Peach Sorbet

Peaches season should be enjoyed to the fullest. This time I’m sharing a super easy recipe, which will blow you mind. Delicious and fresh, 100% peachy and healthy.

  • If you don’t have peaches on hand you can use nectarines
  • Put in the freezer the inside bowl of your ice cream machine 24 hours before preparing the recipe
  • If you do not own an ice-cream machine you can place the mixture in a container and leave it in the freezer until it is frozen. I can tell you from my experience that the texture of the ice cream changes a lot since the main ingredient is the fruit. I would recommend buying a small ice-cream machine if cooking is your passion and you like ice creams, sorbets etc. just as much I do. I love it that I can prepare a healthy product, as many times as I want and the cost is surely lower than the market bought products. Bottom line, your investment will pay off 100%.

Method:

 

In a small saucepan, add the sugar and water and bring to a boil

Cook the mixture until the sugar is completely dissolved

Remove from the heat and allow cooling completely

Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and puree until smooth

Churn the mixture in the ice cream machine according to the manufacturer’s instructions

Afterward put the sorbet in a container

Cover and freeze for at least 2-3 hours before serving
