How to Make the Best Hot Chocolate Ever

I’m not a winter person I must say, but I totally love the festive atmosphere during this month. Wrapping around my hands a mug of creamy hot chocolate is one of my favourite winter activities. I like both : hot chocolate and hot cocoa drink, but I totally hate when I ask for hot chocolate and they bring me hot cocoa.
Today I’m sharing with you my classic hot chocolate recipe. Simple, rich, creamy and a bit boozy but totally optional.

 

Ingredients:

150 gram dark chocolate

100 ml heavy cream

40 ml milk

a pinch of salt

Walnuts Raki or Baileys (totally optional)

 

Method:

Put all ingredients except the alcohol in a small saucepan
Cook over medium-low heat until chocolate is dissolved
Turn up the heat to medium and keep whisking occasionally until heated through
Stir in the booze (if using) and serve
