Light, delicious, and you don’t need to count the calories as this recipe will be your treat even if you are on a diet !
- You need powdered sugar and cinnamon (last step)
- Serve warm or cooled
- You can add anything you like at serving; it would be delicious with a dollop of sweetened whipped cream or ice-cream
Method :
Preheat your oven to 176°C and line the bottom of a springform pan with parchment paper
Butter the the sides of the pan.
Peel the apples and remove the apples core, chop them into medium-sized chunks
Add all chopped apples in the pie-pan and set aside
In a large bowl beat eggs with sugar until thick and ribbons form on the surface of the beaten eggs
Beat in vanilla
Stir in flour until just combined
Add the batter on top of apples and then with a spoon stir them just a bit so the batter will get inside them
Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes/ until full baking (if you put a toothpick it will come out clean and the surface must have a light brown color)
Cool in pan for 10 minutes
Peel off the parchment paper, and flip it back onto a serving platter.
With a sieve shaker dust lightly with powdered sugar and ground cinnamon
