If you are a “Snickers” person, then this treat is the right answer. These small balls will explode in your mouth giving you the perfect combination between peanuts and chocolate flavor. And if you have kids, this might be a good chance to teach them that cooking is fun and easy.
- If you don’t want to use all the peanut butter balls when making let them chill fridge (before coating them with chocolate) and then freeze them, reusing whenever you want (up to 1 month).
- You can storage them in fridge up to 1 week
- You can use chopped peanuts aswell if you cant. Add them in the melted peanut butter measure
Method :
In a heatproof bowl put the peanut butter, butter and salt. (use salt only if you’re using the unsalted butter) Give a stir together and melt in microwave until creamy. You mustn’t liquid the ingredients. That will take few seconds up to one minute, make sure to check it out time after time
Add vanilla and stir the measure with a spatula or a wooden spoon
Now add the icing/powdered sugar. Add 100 gram at a time and stir. You can work it with hands (as I do) making sure to have a soft and not sticking batter. Than you will now that it’s ready to go
Put aluminum or parchment paper in a large plate and roll the peanut butter balls in your hand. Size – as you wish; my advice – make them small
Let the balls chill completely in fridge for at least one hour
Melt the chocolate
Transfer the melted chocolate in a smaller bowl so it’ll be easier for you to deep the peanut butter balls in it, but I suggest you to keep the bowl in hot water so the chocolate won’t harden.
Deep the peanut butter balls in chocolate (you can use toothpick or 2 small spoons if you don’t have any sweet tool)
Refrigerate them until they are set and firm
