Today It’s not about me, it’s about them! Those people that inspire me and make me work harder and harder each day to reach my goals. This Thursday I wanted to share some of my favorite blogs. Some of them I’ve been following for a long time now and some are new to me and to the blogging society. It’s such a sweet feeling reading about other’s hobbies and being effected by their work and lifestyle. Something these blogs have all in common is their simplicity. Being successful it’s not always about money and fame; it’s about how you act to the people that made you famous. It’s a virtue and a role model to follow. In the end Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication isn’t it?
What I love about Alessandra is her simple & unique style. Comfortable seems to be her principle, but combined with such personal taste she makes it ROCK. I love her dark atmosphere with a touch of colors and I got to say that I’ve learned a lot from her (such as being more courageous about combining different pieces of clothing, which I would never consider doing before). It’s been 2 and a half years that I’m her loyal fan. I even remember the happiness of the first comment-reply she let me. That made me fancy her even more.
It’s been a year since I’m a regular reader of Emily. She’s been and she is for sure one of my biggest inspirations. I love her passion for life and beautiful things in it, and the passion for cooking and the details that make the difference. It’s even such a sweet coincidence that yesterday she posted the “Links I Love” article (kind of same like mine here).
Well, well what do we have here! Only Deco Love was love at first sight. It’s been only one month since when my sister recommended me her blog and since then I never stopped passing by. Actually it was her magic that inspired me creating that ‘white touch’ over my web. Katerina is an architect based in Norway and she created her blog to document the renovations of the house she currently lives. She also shares with her readers spinets of her everyday life, interior design ideas and news, articles about what captures her eye in the interior world, reviews and presentation of products she loves and her famous DIY Calendar, phone and Mac wallpapers.
She is Heather Baird and she loves desserts! I have to say, she owned me since the first moment. She brings out that lovely fun part of cooking sweets and I felt so happy that there are many people (especially Heather) that understand me how I feel about it. She is a Tennessee girl with a background in fine arts and for many years she has been an aspiring painter. What I find really inspiring and motivating is the fact she still paints, but her journey into the confectionery world has changed the relationship she has with her own creativity. “I’m most fulfilled when lost in a cloud of powdered sugar, assembling desserts that are as artful as they are delicious” she writes in the blog. That makes me believe even more the power of food and desserts in particular.
Annabelle Fleur brings out the sophistication each woman should have. She started her love affair with fashion working with Hollywood designer Elisa Ferare. As a fashion blogger and not only, she confessed “I live, breathe and dream fashion” and you can clearly see this in every detail on her blog and personality. When I remind of her, I recall the quotation of Coco Chanel “Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening” Very important to mention, I also fancy her because she dares to dream, just like I do!
